Automatic Recurring Payments
Use your checking or savings account information to authorize automatic payments. Just set it and forget it. To sign up, log in to your My Account and select Recurring Payments on the home page or print and return the Recurring Payment form.

Credit and Debit Card Payment
Pay using your credit or debit card through Paymentus, MidAmerican Energy’s card processor. Paymentus accepts:
- Cards branded Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express
- Apple Pay
- Amazon Pay
- Google Pay
- PayPal and PayPal Credit
- Venmo
You can pay online by logging in to My Account and choosing the “Pay by Credit | Debit Card” option, or you can make a one-time payment through Paymentus, which will not save your payment information. You can also pay through an automated phone system at 877-253-0147. Paymentus may charge a processing fee.
Mail
When mailing payments, include the pay stub from your bill, or write your MidAmerican Energy account number or service address on your check. Mail payments to:

Phone Payments
Pay over the phone using our dedicated payment line at 800-432-4524. Have your account number and payment information ready when you call.
Walk-up Payments
Payments can also be made at kiosks across our service territory.
Several Western Union locations are authorized to accept your MidAmerican Energy payment. A $1 convenience fee is charged for this service and only cash is accepted. Please read these important instructions before paying your bill, and to find an authorized Western Union walk-in location.
Other Retail Locations
Please be sure to pay only through a MidAmerican authorized payment processor from the list above. There are payment processing companies or local grocery stores that will accept your payment, but it does cause a delay in us receiving it and posting the amount to your account. If do you choose to go through an unauthorized vendor, always get a receipt. And, if you have a disconnect notice and need to pay your past due amount, always call us at 888-427-5632.
