Helping families in your community

I CARE
The I CARE program is a way for you to help families in your local area with financial assistance for heating bills and/or energy efficiency weatherization efforts. For every $1 donated, we contribute an additional 25 cents. When you donate, one-time or monthly, your contribution is directed to a community action agency in your area that distributes the funds to those customers in need of financial help.
Goodwill payments
Some customers choose to help their neighbors or loved ones directly. Anonymous payments can be made over the phone and applied to any MidAmerican customer's account. Call us at 888-427-5632 to make a payment on another person's account, whether it's a friend, family member or a random customer in need of assistance with their bill.
