Jumpstart your career with an internship at MidAmerican Energy, one of the largest renewable energy producers in the U.S. 

 

Our interns receive insight into a career in the rapidly evolving energy industry and gain real-world experience through challenging projects and career coaching.

They work alongside experienced professionals in our redesigned, open office workspaces and tour several of our facilities, including our new state-of-the-art Training Center for Excellence.

 

 

 

Our interns have the chance to engage with co-workers outside of the office and give back by volunteering through our CARES program. Our employees take part in all sorts of volunteer events, like building homes with Habitat for Humanity, picking up litter in our communities, mentoring students at Junior Achievement and so much more.

 

They are also able to network with senior leaders and other interns throughout our summer program.

Typically, interns are enrolled as full-time college students and are hired for our summer program, which runs from mid-May to mid-August.
