Easily install the smart thermostat yourself! Most installations just require removing the old thermostat, connecting the appropriate wires to your new thermostat and stabilizing it on the wall. Don’t worry – there are plenty of resources out there to help you if you’re not an experienced handyperson.
Note: According to ENERGY STAR, smart thermostats are compatible with most HVAC systems. Use manufacturer compatibility checkers on our marketplace to verify before purchase.

Schedule your smart thermostat to fit your needs. You can choose a time-based schedule or a location-based schedule that uses geofencing to determine your home or away settings. Some smart thermostats can also learn your schedule and adjust for you automatically! So, no matter if you work a 9-to-5 job, travel frequently or spend a lot of time at home, your thermostat will always run efficiently.
And, if weather conditions or plans change, simply open your smart thermostat app and adjust your settings from anywhere – whether you’re on the couch or out of town.

Save energy and money over time. A smart thermostat’s ability to automatically adjust the temperature means you can make the most of current conditions. In fact, ENERGY STAR says you could save up to $100 a year when you upgrade to a smart thermostat! Savings could be even greater depending on the climate, your personal comfort preferences, home occupancy and HVAC equipment.
