Payment Options
Automatic Payment Plan:
  • Payment for the total amount due is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on each bill's due date. Enroll in the program using one of the following two options:
    • Log in to My Web Account and select Enroll Automatic Payment Plan.
    • Print the Automatic Payment Plan form, and mail or fax the completed form to MidAmerican as directed on the form.
Single Online Payment:
  • Schedule a single online payment for today or a future date using a checking or savings account. There is no fee, and you control when the payment is made.
  • Log in to My Web Account and select Schedule an Online Payment.
Checking and Savings Account Payments:
  • MidAmerican offers the convenience of paying your electronic or paper bill directly from your checking or savings account through MidAmerican's secure Web site or by telephone.
  • Log in to My Web Account or call 888-427-5632 for further information.
Credit or Debit Card Payments:
  • ChoicePay®, a utility bill payment center, accepts online or phone payments made with MasterCard and Visa debit and credit cards and Discover credit cards. ChoicePay charges a processing fee; however, MidAmerican does not receive any portion of the fee. ChoicePay's processing fee can be verified by calling 877-839-2465.

    Accessing the ChoicePay link will take you to a Web site separate from this Web site and any other MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company Web site.
  • All payments, including pending disconnect and reconnect payments, are accepted.
  • If your payment is for a pending disconnection or reconnection of service, you must call MidAmerican at 888-427-5632 with the ChoicePay transaction number, which confirms the payment.
Customer Offices:
  • Payments can be made at any of MidAmerican's customer offices. Customer offices accept cash, checks or money orders for full and partial payments.
Pay Stations:
  • A convenience fee will be charged for all transactions processed at authorized pay station locations. MidAmerican Energy receives no portion of this fee. Payments made at unauthorized locations may result in the delayed posting of the payment to your account and the inability to promptly confirm your payment. Unauthorized pay stations typically charge a fee for their service.
